Chocolate is a food and luxury food, the main ingredient of which is cocoa products. The word "chocolate" is originally derived from the name of the first drink containing cocoa, the "xocóatl" or "xocólatl". Literally translated, this means "bitter water" or "cocoa water" in the Aztec language. It was a mixture of water, cocoa, vanilla and cayenne pepper.

Precious fine cocoa for pure chocolate

The recipe for 'Rausch Plantagen-Schokoladen' is unique: 100% pure and incomparably aromatic fine cocoa. Only around 5.5% of the world's harvest is rare and precious fine cocoa, which is characterized by incomparably fine and characteristic aromas. Rausch sources all fine flavor cocoa varieties directly from plantations in regions of origin along the equator. We know every partner there personally. By deliberately avoiding middlemen, the cocoa farmers are offered prices that are well above the world market price level. And it also means: guaranteed quality from cultivation to the finished chocolate.

Since 1918, Rausch has been preparing exclusive chocolates to the highest quality standards in accordance with our Rausch Purity Law. In order to produce pure dark chocolate in which the full aroma intensity of the fine cocoa can unfold, we only add the essentials to the fine cocoa powder: Cane sugar and cocoa butter. For fine milk chocolates, we also add whole milk powder. We deliberately produce our fine flavor cocoa chocolates without lecithins, palm oil and flavorings. All our fine cocoa chocolates are gluten-free, kosher and halal. In addition, all our dark fine flavor cocoa chocolates, i.e. from 60% cocoa content, are also naturally vegan and .
