This year’s highlight is the “Rausch Genussmomente” pastry Advent calendar. It features 24 days of Rausch pastries in a special marble box. Behind the doors, you’ll find a variety of handmade seasonal pastry creations, new Christmas dragees, new products from Rausch , and chocolates with Christmas motifs. Twenty-four unique doors—some containing multiple exquisite treats—turn every day into a new pastry moment. 

For those who prefer to experience Advent step by step through the world of single-origin chocolate, the “Sweet Advent” mini-Advent calendar features 24 small bars. With different origins and cocoa content, the chocolates range from mild to more intense, revealing a different facet of single-origin cocoa day by day.

The “Pralinenzauber” pralines Advent calendar, on the other hand, is entirely dedicated to the art of chocolate-making. Behind its 24 doors, a different chocolate or truffle creation awaits each day—ranging from fruity and nutty to creamy and intensely chocolatey. All creations are alcohol-free.

With the “Chocolate Workshop,” Advent becomes a shared experience. Twenty-four large chocolate figures, each weighing 10 g, come together in a lovingly designed Christmas world featuring a hidden-object picture, fun facts about chocolate, and a recipe sweetened with dates. The figures are made from Fairtrade chocolate with no added sugar.

From Waiting for Christmas to a Daily Moment of Enjoyment

The tradition of the Advent calendar dates back to the 19th century. At first, pictures, chalk marks, or other small symbols were used to show how many days were left until Christmas. At the beginning of the 20th century, this evolved into the first printed Advent calendars, and later into the calendars we know today, with little doors and small surprises.
