Second place for Team Purple

Zweiter Platz für Team Lila

Unique creations, crazy combinations, individual wishes'Ķ Katja Liebing - head patissiere at Rausch - is used to all this, but the whole thing under time pressure and in front of a running camera is something else.

Katja Liebing has already assisted the candidates on the SAT.1 show 'Das Große Promibacken' several times during the preparations and has coached Ralph Morgenstern, Raffael Vogt and Daniel Boschmann, among others, to the final. This time, she is a contestant herself. Together with her partner Anne, she has made it through the casting. Together they will compete as Team Lila - and the only Berlin team - against the elite of the baking art.

Once again this year, six professional teams will be baking for victory. In each episode, two challenging tasks await the duos from Germany, Austria and, for the first time, Italy, which are then judged by a jury. This consists of star pastry chef Christian Hümbs, confectioner Bettina Schliephake-Burchardt and Günther Koerffer - the court confectioner to the Swedish royal family.

"The biggest challenge was to react spontaneously and flexibly. We often improvised during the show to give our creations a special highlight," says Katja Liebling. One creation from the show will be available exclusively at the Rausch Deli at Gendarmenmarkt after the broadcast.
