Unique origin and taste experience

The secret lies in the origin: the cocoa plantations in the Sambirano Valley provide beans with an unmistakable character. Sustainably cultivated and masterfully refined, the chocolate not only impresses with its taste, but also with its purity - naturally vegan and free from unnecessary additives.

The fine cocoa for this variety grows in the Sambirano region of this huge island off the east coast of Africa. In the north-west of Madagascar, in the Ambanja region, the humidity and warm climate are ideal for growing the best fine flavor cocoa in the country. The predominant cocoa varieties there are descended from Criollos, which were introduced to Madagascar in the 1800s. They were later crossed with Trinitarios, resulting in the unique fine flavor cocoa varieties that are typical of Madagascar.
