Chocolate pumpkin and peach cake

Autumn is the perfect time for cozy days and sweet moments of indulgence. Why not try something new?

Our recipe for a chocolate pumpkin and peach cake combines the autumnal sweetness of pumpkin with the irresistible chocolate from Rausch - simple, delicious and perfect for the season!

And best of all, it's very easy to make!

List of ingredients:

- 150 g Rausch chocolate

- 150 g butter

- 150 g sugar

- 3 eggs

- 200 g flour

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 pinch of salt

- 300 g pumpkin

- 3 half peaches (from the can)

- 200 ml whipped cream

- 50 g Rausch chocolate pearls

- 1 tsp vanilla sugar

Here's how it works:

1. prepare the batter: Melt the Rausch chocolate with the butter. Beat the sugar and eggs until frothy, then stir in the chocolate and butter mixture. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix everything into a smooth batter.

2. bake: Pour the batter into a greased baking tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25-30 minutes. Then leave to cool.

3. pumpkinism & peaches: Spread the cake with pumpkin icing. Cut the peach halves into slices and spread evenly on top.

4th cream layer: Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff and place on top of the peaches. Finally, sprinkle the Rausch chocolate pearls on top.

5th final touch: If you like it particularly autumnal, you can spread a thin layer of pumpkin icing on top of the cream.
