The marzipan bread is shaped like a small loaf. When held over the flame, it develops a golden-brown, scored top. The sugar caramelizes slightly during this process, adding subtle toasted notes, similar to those of a crème brûlée. Beneath the top, the premium marzipan remains soft and moist. With 46% almonds, the almond flavor is clearly the star of the show.
The bottom half is dipped in dark single-origin chocolate from Ecuador, containing at least 70% cocoa. It adds a tart, robust note and balances out the sweetness of the marzipan. This way, every bite offers both the flamed top and the dark chocolate.
