Succulent chocolate brownies with dark fine flavor cocoa chocolate

Saftige Schokoladen-Brownies mit dunkler Edelkakao-Schokolade

These moist brownies are the favorite recipe of Aileen - our colleague from Marketing and eCommerce. For her, the combination of fruity cranberries and tart walnuts is the perfect complement to the intense chocolate flavor.

Recipe for 10 brownies

Preparation time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

250 g butter
200 g 'Rausch Plantagen Ecuador 70 %'
150 g dried cranberries
150 g walnuts
80 g 'Edelkakao-Pulver', sieved
65 g flour, sieved
1tsp baking powder
350 g extra-fine sugar
4 large eggs

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a rectangular baking tin with baking paper.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate and stir the mixture until smooth.
  3. Add cranberries and chopped walnuts to taste.
  4. In a second bowl, mix the fine cocoa powder with the flour, baking powder and sugar and then add to the chocolate mixture.
  5. Beat the eggs and stir in thoroughly. The mixture should be nice and smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake for about 25 minutes.
  7. Leave the finished cake to cool, cut into 10 square pieces and enjoy.

Tip:

The brownies should still be moist in the middle, so it's better to shorten the baking time a little, depending on your oven.
