Fine chocolate pudding with dark fine cocoa chocolate

Feiner Schokoladenpudding mit dunkler Edelkakao-Schokolade

When it's still cold and uncomfortable outside, there's nothing better than enjoying a homemade chocolate pudding - just like our mothers and grandmothers used to make. It is very easy to prepare and tastes particularly good when warm.

Recipe for 5 portions

Ingredients:

500 ml milk
35 g starch
40 g sugar
1tbsp fine flavor cocoa powder
100 g fine flavor cocoa chocolate 'Rausch Plantagen Peru 60 %'
Also: zest of an organic orange to decorate.

Preparation:

Crush the fine flavor cocoa chocolate and set aside.Keep 10 g for the decoration.

Mix 100 ml of the milk with the sugar, starch and fine flavor cocoa powder.

Bring the rest of the milk to the boil.

As soon as it boils, stir in the milk and cocoa mixture with a whisk. When the pudding starts to thicken, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the chopped fine cocoa chocolate until it melts.

Pour the pudding evenly into small bowls.

Tip:

Carefully wash an organic orange, remove a thin layer of peel and cut into fine strips. Mix with the remaining chopped fine cocoa chocolate and decorate the pudding with it. The slightly tart note of the orange peel goes perfectly with the chocolate pudding and also gives it a bright splash of color.
