EGG CAKE | PANCAKES WITH FINE COCOA CHOCOLATE

So that nothing goes wrong on Sunday, here's a quick and easy recipe from our Steffi from the patisserie: chocolate pancakes or, as she would say in Dutch, "pannakoeken" with fine cocoa chocolate, bananas and, of course, whipped cream! For the perfect start to a cozy Sunday.

Recipe for 6 pieces
Preparation time: 30 minutes

Ingredients Pancakes:

600 ml milk
50 g 'Edelkakao-Pulver'
1tsp cinnamon
40 g sugar
1pinch salt
260 g flour
3 eggs


Ingredients chocolate sauce:

125 ml milk
100 g 'Rausch Plantagen Ecuador 70 %'
butter g flour

Ingredients for topping:

Drinking chocolate pearls 'Rausch Plantagen Ecuador 70 %'
Bananas
Whipped cream


Preparation of pancakes:

  1. Mix the flour with the cocoa powder and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and cinnamon until frothy.
  3. Then gradually sift in the flour mixture and add the milk. Stir until you have a smooth batter.
  4. Leave the pancake batter to rest for about 20 minutes.
  5. Then fry the pancakes in a greased pan over a medium heat.

Preparation of the topping:

  1. Bring the milk to the boil and pour over the chocolate.
  2. Add a little butter and stir.
  3. Add the chocolate sauce, bananas and drinking chocolate pearls.

Toppings can vary according to preference.
