Fine nut nougat liqueur

Feiner Nuss-Nougat-Likör

Making your own liqueur is very easy. And between you and me: homemade tastes best. With this recipe for aromatic nut nougat liqueur, you can conjure up particularly indulgent chocolate moments. We say - cheers.

Recipe for 800 ml nougat liqueur

Ingredients:

260 g "Glück" Happen (approx. 11 pieces)
400 ml cream
300 g sugar
250 ml clear grain brandy
1 vanilla pod (the seeds)

Preparation:

  1. Bring the cream, sugar and vanilla pulp to the boil.

  2. Then add the praline pieces and stir until they have dissolved. Leave to cool for approx. 5 minutes.

  3. Gradually add the clear grain brandy, stirring constantly, until the mixture has combined.

  4. Fill the liqueur into bottles and store in the fridge after cooling. Shake well before serving.

Tips:

The chocolate egg liqueur naturally tastes best when freshly made and will keep for about four weeks in the fridge.

To serve, dip the top edge of shot glasses into warm chocolate. This creates a delicious chocolate rim that can be decorated with cocoa nibs or drinking chocolate pearls, for example.
