Every fine flavour cocoa has its own characteristic aroma. This means that every fine flavour cocoa chocolate has its own unique taste profile - shaped by the growing region and the refinement of the cocoa beans. Unlike most chocolates, our 'Rausch Plantagen Schokoladen' only contain fine flavour cocoa and cane sugar. Whole milk powder or cream is added for lighter varieties. No additives, just pure indulgence!

The quality of chocolate is primarily determined by the cocoa used. Our Rausch Plantagen chocolates therefore contain 100% pure fine flavour cocoa.

The special feature: Only 8% of the entire world cocoa harvest consists of rare fine cocoas, which are characterized by their fine aroma.

DIRECT REFERENCE

Taking responsibility means sourcing fine flavour cocoa directly from its country of origin. Avoiding middlemen as well as personal and long-term cooperation with the cocoa farmers is of great importance.

Dr. Elsa Hegmann runs the 'Tres Equis - Finca de Cacao' institute on her own fine flavour cocoa plantation in Costa Rica. Together with her team, she looks after the welfare of the fine flavour cocoa trees and researches sustainable methods of cocoa cultivation.
