Vegan brookies - the heavenly mix of soft brownie and crispy cookie. Sweet, chocolaty, simply irresistible and definitely not just for vegans!
Ingredients list for the brownie layer:
120 g vegan margarine
60 g organic sugar
60 g brown sugar
3 tbsp apple sauce
vanilla sugar (optional)
80 g flour
30 g fine flavor cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 chopped Peru 60% bar
List of ingredients for the cookie layer:
80 g vegan margarine
50 g brown sugar
50 g organic sugar
150 g flour
3 tbsp apple sauce
vanilla sugar (optional)
3/4 tsp baking powder
70 g Ecuador 70% drinking chocolate
Preparation:
1. Mix the melted vegan margarine with the other brownie ingredients.
2. Pour the mixture into a non-stick baking dish and stir until smooth.
3. For the cookie dough, mix the room temperature vegan margarine with all the other ingredients.
4. Pour the finished batter onto the brownie mixture and spread well.
5. Bake at 170 degrees for 45-50 minutes, then leave to cool and enjoy!
