The creamy classic refined with the yellow of the egg: Creamy egg liqueur-panna cotta with fruity cherry puree and fine cocoa powder.
Recipe for 6 people
Preparation time: 30 minutes plus cooling time
Ingredients for cherry puree:
100 g cherries (frozen)
50 g sugar
10 g starch
1g cinnamon
20 g egg liqueur
Panna cotta ingredients:
13 g gelatine
400 g whipping cream
200 ml milk
75 g sugar
1vanilla pod
100 ml eggnog
In addition fine cocoa powder
Preparation of cherry jam:
- Defrost and drain the cherries.
- Bring the cherry juice, sugar, starch and cinnamon to the boil.
- Then add the cherries.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the eggnog.
- Leave to cool.
Preparation of the panna cotta:
- Soak the gelatine in cold water.
- Bring the whipping cream, milk, vanilla and sugar to the boil.
- Gently squeeze out the gelatine and add.
- Then add the egg liqueur.
- Finally, divide the panna cotta into six bowls and chill for at least 5 hours.
- Remove the set panna cotta from the fridge shortly before serving. Prepare another bowl of hot water for turning out. Hold the bowls in the hot water before turning out to make the turning process easier.
- Sprinkle with fine cocoa powder and serve with the cherry jam.
Tip:
Add fruit, such as raspberries, as desired.
